So the proposal came while we were on vacation this past July in Punta Cana with our two friends.  I am being completely honest when I say I had NO clue it was coming, I was seriously taken by surprise.  And if people were there with us they would see that I had no clue because Eugene wanted to kill me up until he proposed - because yes, I will admit - I made a few comments about getting married throughout the trip.  The night before he proposed we actually had a fight - and in that moment Eugene told me he was very close to taking the ring out and throwing it at me.  But on the day of the proposal we were fine - fight was over - we were having a great day.  So that night, Thursday night, the last night of our trip - we had a dinner set up for the four of us.  As we're eating our main course a photographer came up to us to take some pictures of the table (I thought nothing of it because I saw him taking photos at other tables) - so I got up for the picture, I'm waiting there for Eugene to be ready - next thing I know he's down on one knee with the ring in his hand asking me to marrying him - I'm in shock, I'm looking at him asking him if he is serious, is this a joke - but it sure wasn't a joke, it was real and I was completely taken by surprise and at that moment he made me the happiest girl in the world.  It was the most perfect proposal and I was so happy that there were photos of the whole thing!
